It is required that you complete all hero quests up to the end of the Toto mission (Haven’t been able to confirm that, but most people finish it anyway by level 20).

You must then seek out your class’s trainer in the Port of Winds. You must accept one of the two given quests by him/her in regards to changing class. The classes that you can change into are:

Magician –> Acolyte OR Battle-mage

Warrior –>Knight OR Gladiator

Thief –> Assassin OR Jester

Archer –> Hunter OR Ranger

Once you have chosen your class you will be given two missions to complete. Your first one is to visit one of the costal regions of the world (You can identify it by the sharks and crabs) and collect 20 class scrolls from any monster.
